Use this page for faction operations, including faction membership access and website roles. Website configuration, audit, and debug remain on Admin.

Faction access and faction roles are managed here. Admin-only website tools are limited to site settings, audit logs, RBAC testing, and debug controls.

Faction backend API authority

Leader key pool

This pool is now the only backend Torn-key source for faction automation. Every key is tested, encrypted on the server, attached to the owner’s current faction, and used for that faction’s cron, war, chain, OC, roster, and snapshot work. There is no environment Torn-key fallback.

Add faction backend key

Use a leader or faction-capable Torn key. ShadowCore tests the key, detects its faction automatically, encrypts it, and assigns it only to that faction’s backend automation pool.

How backend selection works

  • Keys are separated by the Torn faction detected during validation.
  • Automation uses only a key belonging to the faction currently being processed.
  • Within a faction, the key with the fewest errors and lowest usage is selected first.
  • Disabling a key removes it from backend rotation without exposing or deleting the raw key.
  • Adding more active keys gives that faction more Torn API capacity without sharing keys across factions.
