Torn readiness guide

How to track Torn faction readiness before wars and chains.

Faction readiness is more than online status. A useful readiness system checks energy, cooldowns, travel, hospital blockers, recent activity, snapshot age, assignments, and leadership context.

Why online status is not enough

In Torn, a member can appear active but still be unusable for a chain or ranked war. They may be abroad, in hospital, short on energy, stuck on drug cooldown, missing a current API snapshot, or unable to take the assigned target. That is why a faction readiness tracker should separate ready, standby, and blocked members.

ShadowCore HQ approaches readiness as an officer workflow: get the best available data, show the blockers clearly, then turn that into a short list of members who can actually help right now.

Step-by-step readiness process

1. Refresh API snapshots

Ask members to open their personal page and refresh their live Torn API snapshot. This keeps bars, status, and cooldown fields from becoming stale.

2. Check hard blockers

Hospital, travel, medical state, and drug cooldown can make a member unavailable even if they recently opened the site.

3. Sort by readiness group

Use ready members first, standby members second, and blocked members only after their blocker is fixed.

4. Copy the call list

Send a clean Discord or faction message listing ready members, missing snapshots, and key blockers.

FAQ

How often should readiness be refreshed?

Refresh before major chains, ranked war pushes, defense periods, or whenever leadership is about to call members.

What does API missing mean?

It means the faction roster has the member, but ShadowCore HQ does not have a current personal snapshot with enough bar/cooldown detail.

Should readiness include battle stats?

Battle stats can help with assignments and target fit, but availability blockers should be checked first.
